Of course the increasing number of deaths from asthma related conditions is frightening.

Of course there are more people getting asthma today than was the case in the past.

Of course there are now more factors causing and triggering asthma conditions today than was the case in the past.

But believe me, you shouldn’t spend the rest of your life scared and worried to death about all the asthma signs and symptoms and figures.

This is simply because NOW more than ever before it is now easier to manage asthma and stay alive well and strong.

Unlike the past there are now more medications that really work to prevent asthmatic attacks and treat asthma.

I am sure your next question is - why are more people still dying?

I have the answer for you… wait for it…

Lack of adequately preventing the asthma in the first place and lack of properly treating it when it does occur!

You heard that?

Many people still don’t listen to or apply the age long principle of “Prevention is better than cure”.

Most of these asthma sufferers spend their time engaging in asthma prone activities, working in places that expose them to asthma, smoking and staying around smokers, etc. All these do not act to prevent but to cause, trigger or make the asthma case worse.

Even for those who don’t have asthma, just engaging in asthma prone activities like the few mentioned above can lead to asthma.

So, to prevent the asthma signs, symptoms and figures from scaring you to death, all you have to do is to let your motto be- “prevention is better than cure” when it comes to asthma.

Talk to your doctor on the best ways of preventing asthma, the best things to do to avoid what will cause or trigger it and the best treatment to take when it does occur.

You could even get your asthma plan of action from your doctor. This will contain all the lists of what to do to prevent asthma, what to take to treat it and emergency phone numbers and places to run to for help when it does occur.

Just these simple tips can help you stay safe and alive from the life threatening disease called asthma.

And at this point it wouldn’t matter to you if the asthma signs and symptoms and figures increase or not.

And lastly… instead of passing on the asthma signs and symptoms and figures… pass on this information to your friends, relatives and loved ones, so that they too can stay safe from asthma.

I’ve had asthma all my life, and realized while in high school that I actually got better after giving up the albuterol from my nebulizer/inhaler.

Now, I’m pursuit of a healthier lifestyle and with some research of gary null–hope to be rid of it one day..
