Zoey asthma educational program is produced by Zoey LP and Respironics HealthScan, Inc. It features two cartoon characters. These two cartoon characters are Zoey and Light Buddy.

Zoey is a car that has asthma, while Light Buddy is a traffic signal that its light represents the colors of the asthma management zone system.

The zoey asthma educational program also uses the Zoey Asthma Care Kit. This kit includes a Zoey and the Zones children storybook. It also contains a companion workbook for parents with asthmatic children. It also contains a coloring book and some crayons, a spacer, and a peak flow meter.

The idea behind Zoey educational program is a sound one. It aims to use characters that children love and are comfortable with to explain the asthmatic condition they are faced with.

This Asthma And Childhood News Will Hold You Spellbound

I have to share this asthma and childhood news with you because it brought tears of joy to my eyes… but most importantly, it also showed me how vulnerable our little babies are with asthma.

I read the asthma and childhood news from Newsday.com.

A Stuffolk Seventh Precinct Officer’s speed and determination saved little baby Amee (just 10-month old) from the monstrous hands of death because of her asthmatic condition.

This officer, by the name of James Skidmore, responded to the frantic 911 call from baby Amee’s mother.

On seeing little baby Amee, he knew instinctively that they had precious minutes to get baby Amee to the hospital from the family’s Mastic home, just before 4 a.m, or she would be dead.

With their lights and sirens blaring, Skidmore and his partner drove as fast as they could to the hospital. While they were driving, Skidmore didn’t just leave little baby Amee to herself, but tenderly cradled her in the baby seat, pumped on her chest and blew air gently to her mouth… all to help keep her alive until they get to the hospital.

I am so sure the tenderness that Skidmore exhibited got to little Amee and she let out a yelp and kicked her legs as she regained her breath… just as they neared the Brookhaven Memorial Hospital, Medical center in East Patchogue.

If you think 7 minutes is a very short time, it will amaze you to know that it took just these 7 minutes to bring little baby Amee to the hospital where she was stabilized and kept alive.

What happened to little baby Amee was an asthmatic attack. If Skidmore and his partner had not responded as quickly (and tenderly) as they did, little baby Amee would obviously have died.

This asthma and childhood news shows you what happens to many little children who suffer from asthma.

It is very necessary for parents to continue working to prevent their children from getting asthmatic attacks.
