If you have always had problem explaining asthma to your little kids and how they can deal with it, your worries are over with zoey asthma educational solutions.
Zoey is the new children’s asthmatic education program that is introduced to homes with children who have asthma, hospitals and pharmacies.
Zoey asthma educational program helps to provide children, parents and health care providers with the right educational tools they need in managing any child’s asthma symptoms. The program also helps to prevent future attacks.
Zoey asthma educational program is produced by Zoey LP and Respironics HealthScan, Inc. It features two cartoon characters. These two cartoon characters are Zoey and Light Buddy.
Zoey is a car that has asthma, while Light Buddy is a traffic signal that its light represents the colors of the asthma management zone system.
The zoey asthma educational program also uses the Zoey Asthma Care Kit. This kit includes a Zoey and the Zones children storybook. It also contains a companion workbook for parents with asthmatic children. It also contains a coloring book and some crayons, a spacer, and a peak flow meter.
The idea behind Zoey educational program is a sound one. It aims to use characters that children love and are comfortable with to explain the asthmatic condition they are faced with.
It not only educates the kids but also the parents on how they can work to avoid their children having asthma attacks.
Hospitals using this Zoey asthma program will also improve the quality of life of children suffering from asthma. They will also be able to use it to save money by reducing, by a large percentage, the number and time of hospital admissions and emergency room visits because of asthma.
So, with Zoey asthma educational program, your asthma children will no longer be as confused about the effects of having asthma as they used to be.

This Zoey program helps children to know exactly what asthma is and how it affects them. It goes further to help them learn how to deal with it.
It also helps them control the causes, triggers and helps them with taking their medication at the right time- without pressure from their parents.

This Asthma And Childhood News Will Hold You Spellbound

I have to share this asthma and childhood news with you because it brought tears of joy to my eyes… but most importantly, it also showed me how vulnerable our little babies are with asthma.
I read the asthma and childhood news from Newsday.com.
A Stuffolk Seventh Precinct Officer’s speed and determination saved little baby Amee (just 10-month old) from the monstrous hands of death because of her asthmatic condition.
This officer, by the name of James Skidmore, responded to the frantic 911 call from baby Amee’s mother.
On seeing little baby Amee, he knew instinctively that they had precious minutes to get baby Amee to the hospital from the family’s Mastic home, just before 4 a.m, or she would be dead.
With their lights and sirens blaring, Skidmore and his partner drove as fast as they could to the hospital. While they were driving, Skidmore didn’t just leave little baby Amee to herself, but tenderly cradled her in the baby seat, pumped on her chest and blew air gently to her mouth… all to help keep her alive until they get to the hospital.
I am so sure the tenderness that Skidmore exhibited got to little Amee and she let out a yelp and kicked her legs as she regained her breath… just as they neared the Brookhaven Memorial Hospital, Medical center in East Patchogue.
If you think 7 minutes is a very short time, it will amaze you to know that it took just these 7 minutes to bring little baby Amee to the hospital where she was stabilized and kept alive.
What happened to little baby Amee was an asthmatic attack. If Skidmore and his partner had not responded as quickly (and tenderly) as they did, little baby Amee would obviously have died.
This asthma and childhood news shows you what happens to many little children who suffer from asthma.
It is very necessary for parents to continue working to prevent their children from getting asthmatic attacks.
Why You Shouldn’t Be Scared Of Asthma Signs And Symptoms And Figures

Of course the increasing number of deaths from asthma related conditions is frightening.
Of course there are more people getting asthma today than was the case in the past.
Of course there are now more factors causing and triggering asthma conditions today than was the case in the past.
But believe me, you shouldn’t spend the rest of your life scared and worried to death about all the asthma signs and symptoms and figures.
This is simply because NOW more than ever before it is now easier to manage asthma and stay alive well and strong.
Unlike the past there are now more medications that really work to prevent asthmatic attacks and treat asthma.
I am sure your next question is – why are more people still dying?
I have the answer for you… wait for it…
Lack of adequately preventing the asthma in the first place and lack of properly treating it when it does occur!
You heard that?
Many people still don’t listen to or apply the age long principle of “Prevention is better than cure”.
Most of these asthma sufferers spend their time engaging in asthma prone activities, working in places that expose them to asthma, smoking and staying around smokers, etc. All these do not act to prevent but to cause, trigger or make the asthma case worse.
Even for those who don’t have asthma, just engaging in asthma prone activities like the few mentioned above can lead to asthma.
So, to prevent the asthma signs, symptoms and figures from scaring you to death, all you have to do is to let your motto be- “prevention is better than cure” when it comes to asthma.
Talk to your doctor on the best ways of preventing asthma, the best things to do to avoid what will cause or trigger it and the best treatment to take when it does occur.
You could even get your asthma plan of action from your doctor. This will contain all the lists of what to do to prevent asthma, what to take to treat it and emergency phone numbers and places to run to for help when it does occur.
Just these simple tips can help you stay safe and alive from the life threatening disease called asthma.
And at this point it wouldn’t matter to you if the asthma signs and symptoms and figures increase or not.
And lastly… instead of passing on the asthma signs and symptoms and figures… pass on this information to your friends, relatives and loved ones, so that they too can stay safe from asthma.
